Selling at Auction

If you have something that you would like to sell in one of our auctions, please feel free to contact us and talk to one of our team members.

We specialise in Japanese antiques with an international client base of collectors.

We offer a free pre-sale assessment of your items based on images or first-hand examination. This assessment based on condition and current market value will denote the estimation of the item.

Owners of property for sale are issued with an ownership receipt. Items consigned to Raimu will then be entered into the next suitable auction as a Lot. All Lots are fully insured against loss or damage while they are in our possession.

We will photograph and list your items on our website together with a description and condition report.

Sale by Auction
All our auctions are internet-based. To minimise commission fees, we do not use any third-party agents such as Invaluable or the Salesroom.

Sellers Reserve
Our auctions do not require reserves. We will agree the lowest selling price with the seller on each Lot. This price is set as the first bid.

Our Sellers Premium is currently 10% of the final selling price.

Sales Notification
We will notify you of the date in which your items will be scheduled for auction and the sales results.

Payments for sold Lots less our commission and any other agreed charges are made via bank transfer no less than 21 days of the auction ending. Payments are only made providing we have received cleared funds for the buyer.
